Job Description

Shrinkage hurts every retail distribution centre; in Benoni, you would be the one tracking it down. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Location: Benoni, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What you'll actually do

Search staff bags at exit points according to store policy
Attend court as a witness when a case goes to trial
Detain suspects lawfully and call SAPS, then write a statement
Record every incident with photos, times and value of goods
Tag high-value stock and check security tags at the doors

You'll need

Able to handle confrontation calmly
Good report writing
Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4
Knowledge of lawful arrest and search under the Criminal Procedure Act
Discreet, observant and honest
PSIRA registration, Grade C at least
