Management Accountant (Retail Group) – Fixed-Term

You'll own the monthly numbers for an agricultural co-operative in Klerksdorp, from journals to the management pack. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll be based at an agricultural co-operative in Klerksdorp. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Calculate provisional tax and check the VAT201 before submission
• Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
• Run the month-end close and prepare the trial balance
• Review creditors, debtors and payroll journals from the clerks
• Track stock costing, standard costs and production variances

• Experience on an ERP such as Sage X3, Sage 300, Syspro or SAP Business One
• BCom Accounting or equivalent degree
• At least 3 years of post-qualification accounting experience
• Understanding of South African income tax and VAT
• You meet month-end deadlines without being chased

• Consolidation experience across several companies
• Power BI or a similar BI tool
• CA(SA) with SAICA, or AGA(SA) or Professional Accountant (SA) with SAIPA
