Merchandiser (Grocery Rep Route)

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a hardware and building store in Kempton Park, so shoppers find what they came for. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is in Kempton Park (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
• Collect trolleys from the parking lot
• Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
• Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
• Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
• Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips

• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Polite with customers and happy to help
• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Grade 10 or matric

• Paid training in store procedures
• Travel allowance on merchandising routes
