Merchandiser (Grocery Rep Route) – Fixed-Term

Shoppers in Sandton judge a hardware and building store by its shelves, and that is where you come in. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The work is in Sandton, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
• Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
• Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves

• Able to stand and lift cases all shift
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Polite with customers and happy to help
• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Grade 10 or matric

• Own transport for route merchandising jobs
• Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
