Voice-Picking Warehouse Assistant – Fixed-Term

Every order that leaves this pharmaceutical warehouse in Mamelodi passes through your hands first. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll report in Mamelodi. Relocation is not covered for this one. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker

• You can read product codes and count accurately
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves

• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate

• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals

• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
