Midibus Driver (School Routes) – Permanent

Early starts, clear routes and people depending on you: a tour and charter company in Fourways is hiring bus drivers. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll be based at a tour and charter company in Fourways. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Inspect the bus before each trip: tyres, brakes, doors, emergency exits
• Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
• Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
• Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable
• Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
• Write the trip log with times, kilometres and fuel

• Patient and friendly with passengers
• Clean driving and criminal record
• Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
• Medically fit

• Fluent in more than one language
• First-aid certificate
• Experience on mine or staff transport routes

• Tips and trip allowances on tour charters
• Split-shift allowance on staff transport routes
• Company uniform
• Paid passenger PrDP renewal

• Write "PrDP P valid until" with the date, right at the top of your CV. It is the first thing a bus operator checks.
• Mention the number of passengers you have driven and the vehicle type, like "65-seater" or "22-seater midibus".
