Midibus Driver (School Routes)

Early starts, clear routes and people depending on you: a staff transport contractor in Kuruman is hiring bus drivers. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Home base is a staff transport contractor on the Kuruman side of Northern Cape.

• Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
• Write the trip log with times, kilometres and fuel
• Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
• Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
• Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
• Inspect the bus before each trip: tyres, brakes, doors, emergency exits
• Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked

• At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
• Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
• Punctual for very early starts
• Patient and friendly with passengers
• Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
• Medically fit

• Experience on mine or staff transport routes
• Fluent in more than one language
• First-aid certificate

• Split-shift allowance on staff transport routes
• Tips and trip allowances on tour charters
• Company uniform

• Mention the number of passengers you have driven and the vehicle type, like "65-seater" or "22-seater midibus".
• Write "PrDP P valid until" with the date, right at the top of your CV. It is the first thing a bus operator checks.
