Job Description

Passengers in Epping trust a school transport operator to get them there safely, and that trust is on your shoulders. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a school transport operator on the Epping side of Western Cape.

What your day looks like

Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable
Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters

Must-haves

At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
Medically fit
Punctual for very early starts

Helpful, not essential

First-aid certificate
Fluent in more than one language
Tour coach experience with charters
