Mine Bus Driver (Shift Transport)

Steady shift work with a staff transport contractor in Ermelo for drivers with a passenger PrDP. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

The work is in Ermelo, Mpumalanga, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

• Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked
• Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
• Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
• Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
• Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
• Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points
• Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters

• Punctual for very early starts
• At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
• Clean driving and criminal record
• Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
• Patient and friendly with passengers

• Tour coach experience with charters
• Fluent in more than one language
• First-aid certificate

• Split-shift allowance on staff transport routes
• Tips and trip allowances on tour charters
• Company uniform
