Mine Security Supervisor

You'll run a shift of officers at a mining operation in Pinetown, keeping posts covered and standards high. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

This post is Pinetown-based, with most of your time spent at a mining operation.

• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns
• Investigate incidents and write reports for the client

• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• Firm with staff but fair and consistent
• Available after hours for emergencies

• Computer skills for rosters in Excel or a workforce app
• Handgun competency for armed supervisor posts
