Mine Security Supervisor

A security company in Rustenburg wants a firm, fair supervisor for its residential estate. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll be based at a residential estate in Rustenburg. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns
• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills

• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• Firm with staff but fair and consistent
• PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
• Available after hours for emergencies

• Labour relations or basic supervision course
• Own reliable vehicle

• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Cellphone allowance
• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles

• If you have been upgraded through the grades, show the progression. It proves you grew on the job.
• Say how many officers you supervised and on which sites. The number matters more than the title.
