Job Description

Passengers in Vanderbijlpark trust a tour and charter company to get them there safely, and that trust is on your shoulders. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Home base is a tour and charter company on the Vanderbijlpark side of Gauteng.

The work, day to day

Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable
Write the trip log with times, kilometres and fuel

You'll need

Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Clean driving and criminal record
Patient and friendly with passengers
At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving

Helpful, not essential

First-aid certificate
Fluent in more than one language
Tour coach experience with charters
