Job Description

When the network goes down at this managed services provider in Springs, you're the one who brings it back. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Location: Springs, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What your day looks like

Monitor servers, links and firewalls and act on alerts
Troubleshoot load-shedding related outages and UPS failures
Document network diagrams and change records
Work with ISPs on link faults and fibre installs
Apply monthly patches to servers and network devices

You'll need

Strong Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 skills, or Linux for Linux posts
Willing to do standby and after-hours maintenance
Degree or diploma in IT, plus relevant certifications
Scripting in PowerShell, Bash or Python
Clear change management and documentation habits
At least 3 years in systems, network or cloud administration
