PHP Developer (Laravel)

Here your code runs in production, not in a drawer: a bank's digital channels team in Springs. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

• Investigate production bugs using logs and monitoring dashboards
• Pair with junior developers to unblock them
• Build and consume REST or GraphQL APIs
• Write unit and integration tests before you merge
• Handle personal data safely, with POPIA rules in mind
• Pick up tickets from the sprint board and estimate the work

• You can explain technical choices to non-technical people
• Commercial experience in at least one of PHP, C#, Java, Python or JavaScript
• Solid Git habits: branches, pull requests and meaningful commit messages
• Stable internet and a quiet workspace for remote days
• A computer science or IT qualification, or a portfolio that proves you can build
• Good SQL and understanding of relational databases
