Offloader (Container Depot) – Permanent

Trucks come in heavy and leave loaded at this beverage depot in Durban Central, and you move the stock in between. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

This post is Durban Central-based, with most of your time spent at a beverage depot. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop
• Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks
• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count

• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
• No criminal record
• Willing to travel on routes that return late

• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Meal allowance on long-route days
• Route-completion incentives in busy months
• Uniform and safety shoes provided

• Say what hours you can start. Loading bays often hire the person who can be there at 04:00 without fail.
• If you are learning to drive, mention it. Depots like to grow assistants into drivers.
