Job Description

Trucks come in heavy and leave loaded at this container unpacking yard in Prospecton, and you move the stock in between. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Location: Prospecton, KwaZulu-Natal. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

The work, day to day

Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop
Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts

Must-haves

Willing to travel on routes that return late
Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
Friendly with customers at the door
No criminal record
Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
