Offloader (Container Depot)

You'll load and offload trucks at a parcel sorting hub in Epping so every delivery goes out full and correct. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

The work is in Epping, Western Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals
• Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop
• Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts
• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks

• No criminal record
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Friendly with customers at the door
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts

• Basic furniture assembly skills
• A Code 8 or Code 10 licence (a route to becoming a driver)
• Speaking more than one local language for customer drops

• Help to get your own licence through the company later
