Job Description

Strong back, sharp eyes on the load sheet: that is what a furniture retailer warehouse in Fourways wants. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll report in Fourways. Relocation is not covered for this one. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What you'll actually do

Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off

What you need

Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
Willing to travel on routes that return late
Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips

Helpful, not essential

Basic furniture assembly skills
Past work as a driver's assistant

What you get

Meal allowance on long-route days
Uniform and safety shoes provided
Route-completion incentives in busy months
Help to get your own licence through the company later

How to apply for this job

Make sure the role, the hours and working in Fourways really suit you before you apply.
Have the following on hand (clear photos on your phone are fine at first): clear copy of your ID with a certification stamp plus police clearance if you already have one.
Fill in the short form below with your name and a phone number you actually answer.
Keep your phone on. Shortlisted applicants are contacted by call, SMS or WhatsApp within 8 working days.

Your application joins the How2Apply talent pool for this role, and we put shortlisted people forward to employers hiring in and around Fourways.

How2Apply never charges you to apply, for training, for uniforms or for a "placement fee". If anyone asks you for money, it is a scam.

Before you hit apply

Say what hours you can start. Loading bays often hire the person who can be there at 04:00 without fail.
Keep your CV to one page with your phone number big and clear. Depot managers phone, they seldom email.
