Offloader (Container Depot) – Permanent

Strong back, sharp eyes on the load sheet: that is what a cement and brick yard in Mokopane wants. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

The site is in Mokopane; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises

• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• No criminal record
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts

• Past work as a driver's assistant
• Basic furniture assembly skills
• A Code 8 or Code 10 licence (a route to becoming a driver)

• Route-completion incentives in busy months
• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Help to get your own licence through the company later

• If you are learning to drive, mention it. Depots like to grow assistants into drivers.
• Say what hours you can start. Loading bays often hire the person who can be there at 04:00 without fail.
