Offloader (Container Depot)

You'll load and offload trucks at a furniture retailer warehouse in Mokopane so every delivery goes out full and correct. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

This post is Mokopane-based, with most of your time spent at a furniture retailer warehouse.

• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
• Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first

• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
• No criminal record
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Friendly with customers at the door
• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note

• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Meal allowance on long-route days
• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Route-completion incentives in busy months

• Say what hours you can start. Loading bays often hire the person who can be there at 04:00 without fail.
• Keep your CV to one page with your phone number big and clear. Depot managers phone, they seldom email.
