Offloader (Container Depot)

Delivery days start early in Springs, and a parcel sorting hub needs you on the bay before the trucks roll. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Home base is a parcel sorting hub on the Springs side of Gauteng. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals
• Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop
• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks

• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
• Friendly with customers at the door
• Willing to travel on routes that return late

• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Route-completion incentives in busy months
• Meal allowance on long-route days

• Say what hours you can start. Loading bays often hire the person who can be there at 04:00 without fail.
• Keep your CV to one page with your phone number big and clear. Depot managers phone, they seldom email.
