Job Description

Short sessions, clear explanations and real progress: that's tutoring with an online tutoring platform in Secunda. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

This post is Secunda-based, with most of your time spent at an online tutoring platform.

The work, day to day

Set practice work between sessions and check it next time
Log hours and sessions on the agency's booking system for payment
Prepare learners for control tests with short timed practice drills
Teach one-on-one or in small groups of up to six
Work through past exam papers and marking memos with learners

Must-haves

Clear, patient way of explaining ideas
Currently studying at university, or holding a degree or diploma
Police clearance for work with minors
Distinction or strong pass in the subject you'll tutor
Own transport for home tutoring posts

Extra points for

TEFL or TESOL certificate for English tutoring
Remedial or learning support training
