Job Description

A hospital group in Kempton Park needs a calm tech who can help frustrated users get back to work. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Home base is a hospital group on the Kempton Park side of Gauteng. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

What you'll actually do

Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
Image, set up and hand over new laptops and desktops
Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes
Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID

Must-haves

Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma

Nice if you have

CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
Experience supporting point-of-sale or medical devices
Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
