Order Picker (Cold Store)

This is steady, physical warehouse work at a pharmaceutical warehouse in Boksburg, and nobody minds if it's your first job. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

You'll report in Boksburg. Relocation is not covered for this one. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off

• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season

• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate

• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation

• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
