Order Picker (Cold Store)

Every order that leaves this clothing distribution centre in Epping passes through your hands first. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

This post is Epping-based, with most of your time spent at a clothing distribution centre. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes

• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• You can read product codes and count accurately

• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays

• If you have done any stock counts, packing or even shelf work before, list it first. It shows you already know how to handle stock.
• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
