Order Picker (Cold Store) – Fixed-Term

Pick it right, pack it neat, send it out: that's the job at a pharmaceutical warehouse in Polokwane. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

This post is Polokwane-based, with most of your time spent at a pharmaceutical warehouse. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets

• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred

• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate

• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
