Job Description

Every order that leaves this online grocery fulfilment hub in Prospecton passes through your hands first. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Home base is an online grocery fulfilment hub on the Prospecton side of KwaZulu-Natal. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What you'll actually do

Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets

What you need

Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
South African ID or a valid work permit
You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
You can read product codes and count accurately
Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred

Helpful, not essential

Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner
