Order Picker (Cold Store)

You'll keep a busy spares and hardware warehouse in Rustenburg stocked, picked and moving out on time. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The work is in Rustenburg, North West, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns

• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season

• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate
• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
• Basic computer skills for capturing counts

• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
