Job Description

Start in retail here: a wholesale cash-and-carry in Klerksdorp trains packers who show up and work neat. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

What you'll actually do

Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
Collect trolleys from the parking lot
Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles

You'll need

Grade 10 or matric
Polite with customers and happy to help
Neat appearance and punctual
Basic reading and maths for price checks
Honest, since stock losses are checked closely

Nice if you have

Some till or cash-handling experience
Previous shelf packing or merchandising work

What you get
