Warehouse Picker (Night Shift)

Pick it right, pack it neat, send it out: that's the job at a clothing distribution centre in Klerksdorp. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

You'll be based at a clothing distribution centre in Klerksdorp. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight

• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts

• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals

• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
