Job Description

Fruit from an avocado packhouse near Tembisa ends up on shelves overseas, packed by your hands. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

You'll report in Tembisa. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Keep your packing station clean and free of stems and leaves
Stack empty cartons and punnets ready for the next run
Stick labels and batch codes on each carton
Help clean the line and machines at the end of the day
Follow food safety rules like hand washing and no jewellery

Must-haves

Follows hygiene rules at all times
Quick and neat with your hands
Available for the full packing season including Saturdays
Able to stand at a line for long shifts
Valid ID or permit
Basic counting and reading for labels

Helpful, not essential

Knowledge of export standards like GLOBALG.A.P.
Matric for QC posts
