Job Description

Work on the line where every station counts, at the exhaust and catalytic converter plant in Durban Central. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll report in Durban Central. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What your day looks like

  • Pull the andon cord when a defect or safety issue appears
  • Record production counts and scrap on the shift board
  • Rotate between stations as the team leader plans
  • Assemble components at your station within the line cycle time
  • Load and unload robotic welding cells safely
  • Follow standard work sheets and quality checkpoints at every step
  • Keep your station clean using 5S rules

Must-haves

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Good eyesight and hand coordination
  • Lives close enough to reach the plant on time for every shift
  • Able to pass a basic literacy and numeracy test
  • Able to stand for a full shift and do repeat tasks without losing focus
  • Can follow written and visual work instructions
