Parts Interpreter (Counter & Workshop)

You'll be the link between customers and the workshop at the motorcycle dealership in Mogwase. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a motorcycle dealership on the Mogwase side of North West. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Load bookings in the dealer management system
• Handle complaints calmly and find a fix with the workshop manager
• Count stock during cycle counts and year-end stocktake
• Phone customers with extra work found and get approval in writing
• Pick, pack and issue parts to technicians against job cards
• Book in vehicles, walk around with the customer and note existing damage
• Order stock and special parts, and follow up on back orders

• Accurate when capturing part numbers and prices
• Computer literate with a dealer management system or parts software
• Code 08 licence
• At least 2 years as a service advisor, parts interpreter or in a similar counter role

• Some mechanical training or a trade background
• Experience in a customer satisfaction survey-driven dealership

• Paid brand training
• Company uniform
• Commission on parts sales or workshop turnover
• Monthly CSI bonus for customer ratings
