This used car dealership workshop in Rustenburg needs a qualified mechanic who can handle services, repairs and electrical faults. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Home base is an used car dealership workshop on the Rustenburg side of North West.

• Quote extra work you find and pass it to the service advisor for approval
• Do wheel alignments and balancing on the alignment bay
• Carry out roadworthy pre-checks on lights, brakes and steering
• Road test vehicles before and after repairs
• Update control unit software when the manufacturer releases a campaign
• Keep your bay, tools and special service tools clean and counted

• At least 3 years as a qualified mechanic in a dealership or workshop
• Your own basic toolbox
• Neat with customer vehicles: seat covers, floor mats and no grease marks
• Able to meet flat-rate or sold-hour targets
• Code 08 licence so you can road test cars

• Air-conditioning regas experience with SAQCC Gas registration
• Brand-specific training certificates from a manufacturer academy

• Manufacturer training courses paid by the dealer
• Productivity bonus on sold hours above target
• Tool allowance or tool insurance
