Parts Manager (Franchised Dealership)

Book cars in, find the right part and keep customers informed at the aftermarket spares shop in Rustenburg. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

You'll be based at an aftermarket spares shop in Rustenburg. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Open job cards and explain the work and cost before it starts
• Handle complaints calmly and find a fix with the workshop manager
• Submit warranty claims with photos and technician reports
• Book in vehicles, walk around with the customer and note existing damage
• Invoice completed jobs and explain the invoice at collection
• Pick, pack and issue parts to technicians against job cards
• Load bookings in the dealer management system

• Computer literate with a dealer management system or parts software
• Matric, plus a motor industry background
• Accurate when capturing part numbers and prices
• Good working knowledge of car parts and basic vehicle systems
• Calm and polite with customers, even when they are upset
• At least 2 years as a service advisor, parts interpreter or in a similar counter role

• Monthly CSI bonus for customer ratings
• Paid brand training
• Company uniform

• For parts jobs, say how quickly you can find a part using the VIN. Some interviews include a quick lookup test.
