This franchised passenger vehicle dealership in Mahikeng needs a qualified mechanic who can handle services, repairs and electrical faults. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

• Carry out roadworthy pre-checks on lights, brakes and steering
• Keep your bay, tools and special service tools clean and counted
• Quote extra work you find and pass it to the service advisor for approval
• Carry out scheduled services to the manufacturer's checklist and interval
• Diagnose engine, ABS and airbag faults with an OBD-II diagnostic scanner

• Your own basic toolbox
• Able to meet flat-rate or sold-hour targets
• Neat with customer vehicles: seat covers, floor mats and no grease marks
• Confident with diagnostic scan tools and wiring diagrams
• At least 3 years as a qualified mechanic in a dealership or workshop
• Code 08 licence so you can road test cars

• Automatic gearbox or DSG repair experience
• High-voltage hybrid or EV safety training
• Brand-specific training certificates from a manufacturer academy
