Parts Salesperson (Aftermarket Spares)

You'll be the link between customers and the workshop at the truck and bus dealership in Cape Town CBD. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

The site is in Cape Town CBD; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Invoice completed jobs and explain the invoice at collection
• Pick, pack and issue parts to technicians against job cards
• Load bookings in the dealer management system
• Submit warranty claims with photos and technician reports
• Count stock during cycle counts and year-end stocktake
• Phone customers with extra work found and get approval in writing

• At least 2 years as a service advisor, parts interpreter or in a similar counter role
• Computer literate with a dealer management system or parts software
• Good working knowledge of car parts and basic vehicle systems
• Code 08 licence
• Matric, plus a motor industry background
• Accurate when capturing part numbers and prices

• Brand-specific warranty system training
• Experience in a customer satisfaction survey-driven dealership

• Monthly CSI bonus for customer ratings
• Paid brand training
• Commission on parts sales or workshop turnover
