Patrol Officer (Warehouse Perimeter)

You'll control who comes in and out of an industrial park in Komani, and log every visitor properly. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

The work is in Komani, Eastern Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty
• Write every incident and shift change in the occurrence book (OB)
• Hand out and collect contractor access cards
• Patrol the perimeter on a set route and scan checkpoint tags
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Keep the guardhouse clean and the OB up to date for the relieving officer

• Clean criminal record
• Physically fit for foot patrols
• Speaks and writes basic English
• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
• Alert, polite and firm with the public

• First-aid Level 1 certificate
• Experience on estate access apps or biometric readers
• Previous experience at a similar site type

• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
• Stable long-term site contracts
• Paid night-shift allowance under the security sector rules
