Payroll Clerk (Sage 300 People, Weekly Paid Staff) – Permanent

You'll run weekly and monthly payrolls for a hospitality group in Polokwane, from clock data to bank file. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Home base is a hospitality group on the Polokwane side of Limpopo.

• Compile bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates
• Import clock-card data and check overtime against approved hours
• Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports
• Process garnishee orders and third-party deductions
• Capture new hires, terminations, increases and deductions before cut-off
• Declare UIF on uFiling and help staff with UI-19 forms
• Submit monthly EMP201 returns and pay PAYE, UIF and SDL on eFiling

• At least 2 years of full-function payroll
• You keep salary information private under POPIA
• Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations

• Knowledge of employment equity and WSP reporting
• Bargaining council wage experience, such as MIBCO or the security sector
