Senior Payroll Officer (Group Companies)

You'll run weekly and monthly payrolls for a labour-heavy mining contractor in Tzaneen, from clock data to bank file. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

Home base is a labour-heavy mining contractor on the Tzaneen side of Limpopo. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Submit monthly EMP201 returns and pay PAYE, UIF and SDL on eFiling
• Submit Compensation Fund returns of earnings
• Compile bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates
• Release the salary bank file for authorisation
• Import clock-card data and check overtime against approved hours
• Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports

• Matric plus a payroll certificate or diploma
• Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations
• Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
• You keep salary information private under POPIA
• At least 2 years of full-function payroll

• Bargaining council wage experience, such as MIBCO or the security sector
• SAPP registration as a Payroll Practitioner
