Payroll Officer (VIP Premier)

Behind every correct payslip at this hospital group in Epping is a careful payroll person. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

You'll be based at a hospital group in Epping. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Calculate leave pay, notice pay and severance on terminations.
• Keep payroll files and banking details secure under POPIA.
• Import clock-card data and check overtime against the BCEA limits.
• Process garnishee orders, loans and third-party deductions.
• Prepare EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates twice a year.
• Run the payroll, check variances and get sign-off before cut-off.
• Reconcile medical aid, pension and provident fund schedules.

• You triple-check figures before anything is paid
• Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
• At least 2 years running a full payroll end to end
• Hands-on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
• Trusted with confidential salary data
