Job Description

Payday is sacred, and at this manufacturing group in Krugersdorp you'll make sure it lands right. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

This post is in Krugersdorp (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

What you'll actually do

Run the payroll, check variances and get sign-off before cut-off.
Calculate leave pay, notice pay and severance on terminations.
Submit the monthly EMP201 on SARS eFiling and pay PAYE, UIF and SDL.
Prepare EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates twice a year.
Capture new hires, terminations and changes on Sage 300 People or VIP.

You'll need

At least 2 years running a full payroll end to end
Matric plus a payroll, bookkeeping or HR qualification
SARS eFiling and EMP501 reconciliations without supervision
You triple-check figures before anything is paid
Hands-on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay

Helpful, not essential

SAPA (South African Payroll Association) membership or certification
ETI claim experience
