Job Description

Behind every correct payslip at this hospital group in Paarl is a careful payroll person. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Location: Paarl, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What your day looks like

Calculate leave pay, notice pay and severance on terminations.
Process garnishee orders, loans and third-party deductions.
Import clock-card data and check overtime against the BCEA limits.
Keep payroll files and banking details secure under POPIA.
Answer staff payslip queries clearly and in private.

What you need

Hands-on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
Trusted with confidential salary data
Strong Excel, especially VLOOKUP and pivot tables
You triple-check figures before anything is paid
Matric plus a payroll, bookkeeping or HR qualification
At least 2 years running a full payroll end to end
