Job Description

A logistics software company in Tembisa needs a developer who can take a ticket from idea to production. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll report in Tembisa. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What your day looks like

Build and consume REST or GraphQL APIs
Document how your features work for support and new developers
Pair with junior developers to unblock them
Handle personal data safely, with POPIA rules in mind
Deploy through a CI/CD pipeline on Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or GitLab

Must-haves

Solid Git habits: branches, pull requests and meaningful commit messages
A computer science or IT qualification, or a portfolio that proves you can build
Stable internet and a quiet workspace for remote days
Experience writing automated tests

Extra points for

Public GitHub portfolio or published app
Docker and Kubernetes experience
Knowledge of secure coding and the OWASP Top 10
