Pick it right, pack it neat, send it out: that's the job at a building-supplies depot in Durban Central. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

The work is in Durban Central, KwaZulu-Natal, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes

• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• South African ID or a valid work permit

• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate

• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
