Pick & Pack Hand (Online Orders) – Entry Level

This is steady, physical warehouse work at a pharmaceutical warehouse in Pretoria West, and nobody minds if it's your first job. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Home base is a pharmaceutical warehouse on the Pretoria West side of Gauteng.

• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets

• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• You can read product codes and count accurately

• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner

• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation

• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
• If you have done any stock counts, packing or even shelf work before, list it first. It shows you already know how to handle stock.
