Plumber's Helper (Residential)

Every wall and slab on this road rehabilitation project in Mokopane needs labourers, and the crew needs one more. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a road rehabilitation project in Mokopane. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Clean tools, mixers and wheelbarrows at the end of each day
• Carry bricks, blocks and cement bags to where the bricklayers work
• Cut and lay paving bricks along string lines
• Sign the daily safety talk register before work starts
• Erect and strip shutters and simple scaffolding under supervision

• Prepared to travel between sites in the area
• Able to follow instructions from a foreman or artisan
• Grade 8 or higher
• Willing to start early, often at 06:30
• Physically strong and fit for outdoor work in all weather

• Previous site work you can show with a reference
• Some experience with a jackhammer, grinder or plate compactor

• Overtime on weekend pours and deadline days
• Boots, hard hat and overalls issued on site
• Paid weekly or fortnightly
