Process Controller (Gold Plant) – Fixed-Term

The coal washing plant near Paarl needs operators who can run their area safely on a 24-hour shift cycle. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

This post is Paarl-based, with most of your time spent at a coal washing plant. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Clean spillage and keep walkways free of hazards
• Take samples at set times and bring them to the lab
• Hand over the plant to the next shift with a clear status report
• Log plant readings and downtime on the shift log
• Start up, run and shut down crushers, screens and conveyors in sequence

• Comfortable around noise, dust and heights while wearing full PPE
• Grade 12 with mathematics and physical science
• At least 1 year operating a processing plant
• Basic computer skills for SCADA screens and logs

• Laboratory or sampling experience
• Forklift or overhead crane licence
