Qualified Plumber (Residential Maintenance)

This property management company in Atlantis needs a plumber who arrives on time, fixes it properly and leaves the site clean. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a property management company on the Atlantis side of Western Cape. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Service booster pumps, pressure tanks and water storage tanks
• Take photos and complete the insurer's claim report after each geyser job
• Install and repair soil and waste pipes to SANS 10400 Part P
• Fit toilets, basins, showers and mixers to the client's chosen finishes
• Replace burst geysers and fit vacuum breakers, drip trays and pressure control valves to SANS 10254
• Work on the emergency call-out roster for after-hours bursts

• Fit enough to lift a 150-litre geyser with a helper and work in tight roof spaces
• Able to talk politely to home owners about damage and costs
• Plumbing trade test certificate or an Occupational Certificate: Plumber (NQF 4)
• At least 3 years as a qualified plumber, including geyser replacements
• Code 08 licence and a clean driving record

• Cellphone allowance for job updates and photos
• Fully stocked service van with a fuel card
• Protective clothing and safety boots replaced yearly
