Reception Security Officer (Office Tower) – Entry Level

You'll control who comes in and out of a construction yard in Centurion, and log every visitor properly. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is in Centurion (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty
• Patrol the perimeter on a set route and scan checkpoint tags
• Watch for loitering, broken fencing and open doors during night patrols
• Direct traffic and parking during school drop-off or big events
• Keep the guardhouse clean and the OB up to date for the relieving officer

• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred
• Speaks and writes basic English
• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
• Alert, polite and firm with the public
• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends

• Firefighting or evacuation training
• Previous experience at a similar site type

• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
• Stable long-term site contracts
• Paid night-shift allowance under the security sector rules
• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
